As a business owner in Meridian, I enjoy many of the amenities that the city offers. However, there is a deficit when it
comes to entertainment, especially live music.
In fact, there are relatively few menus considering the size of the metro area, and the lack of upscale live music venues is
apparent. The citizens in Meridian need additional options for entertainment. The Oasis would be a great addition to the
community!
It is important for the city to foster diverse business entities that can provide much needed entertainment. The rhetoric
making the rounds about this establishment increasing the crime rate, or not fitting into the atmosphere are certainly
subjective opinions.
