Dear Mike:
This development has not yet addressed the requirements of the Sc1'tlers Irrigation District
Please refer to my plan review Jetter dated November 21,2005, and my preliminary plat letter
dated July 28, 2005 for all SID requirements,
Once all the issues have been addressed SID can issue a plan approvlI:lletter and start the license
agreement process. Please keep in mind that no construction is to take place wirhin a SID facility
until a license agreement is signed and recorded,

Dear Mike.:
After review of the irrigation plans for Caymus Cove Subdivision Settlers Irrigation
District requests the following'
1, A 50' easement is needed for the Settlers Canal.
2. A 20' easement is needed for the Lemp 4ateraL
3. The silt fence should be placed far enough from the canal so that it does not
interfere with operation and maintenance duties.
4. The out-parcel to the east wil1 need to receive iaigation water.
5. A reinforced lid is needed on the existing irrigation box located in the Settlers
Canal. '
6. The Lemp Lateral boxes are to have traffic rated lids and be flush with the access
road,
7, The Lemp Lateral shall be at least 12' from the top of the bank of the Settlers
Can~. ,
8- A minimum. 3' fence is required between the sidewalk and the access road.
9. The access road and 3' fence shall match those existing facilities to the east.
1O, A retaining wall is needed on both sides of the canal to protect the banks-
11. A retaining wall is needed to transition the bottom of the canal into the 72" pipe.
12. Provide a trash rack.

Dear John:
After review of the Preliminary Plat of the Ilbove.roemioned application Settlers Irrigation
District requests the following:
1. All irrigation/drajl'lage facilities along with their easements must be protected and
continue to function. The facilities involved are the Settlers Canal (50' easement), and
the Lemp Lateral #34 (20'easement)- Contact SID for additional requirements.
2. A Land Use Change Application must be on file prior to any approvals,
3, A license agreement MUST be signed and recorded prior to construction of any S.I.D.
facilities, or within its easements.
4. Any changes to the existing iITigation system such as relocation, water deiivery~ tiling,
and landscaping must be approved by Settlers lITigation District's Board of Directors.
5; AU storm drainage must be retained on.site.
6. The development must s\lpply iITigation access to all lots within the above-mentioned
subdivision from the current delivery point. lfthe developer wishes to have Settlers
Irrigation District own, operate, and rnaÌlltain the pressure irrigation system an agreement
needs to be in place prior to the pre-construction meeting.
