RE: Landscape Modification for Oaks North No. 5
Dear Planning Staff,
Attached for your review, is an application for Oaks North concerning the landscape amenity for
Phases 1 and 5. This will impact project number H-2019-0137 Oaks North No. 5. This application
has been submitted in conformance with all applicable requirements of the UDC and will meet the
project’s conditions of approval.
Modification Request
Within this application we are requesting to remove the proposed shelter within the final plat for
phase 5, Lot 2, Block 26. We are asking to instead replace this amenity with a full-size basketball
court within phase 1 within our main amenity area. This will be located east of the existing pickle
ball court, as depicted below.
Overall, we feel that this will be a better utilized
active amenity for the residents over the shade
structure. We also just built a shade structure within
phase 4 that can be accessed from our phase 5
residents.
