Hello- please add our names to those residents who oppose the proposed ordinance against golf cars/atv’s on public
streets.
This ordinance is not needed. There is not a large problem here that needs to be regulated.
Residents can self-manage any problems that arise.
In addition, atv’s/UTV’ s are needed in our neighborhoods, particularly during winter to plow snow. For example, during
the winter of 2016/2017 neighbors here had to use atv’s/UTV s to dig out our streets as ACHD does not plow residential
roads. Without these residents efforts, we all would have been snowed in for days or weeks. These small vehicles are
useful tools that residents should be able to use freely.
