agreed upon or entered into by Ada County and the City of
Meridian but such an agreement has been approved by the Citizen's
committee and wilt be acted upon by the city council and the Ada
County Commissioners in the near future' The City Council will
hold a public hearing on October 4, 1984, to consider the
re corunendations of the Citizents Committee ' The Citizen's
Commi ttee has recommended the Area of Impact be shorrn as on
the attached maP.
The Pl-anning and Zoning Commission have prev.iously found
and decided that the above Corprehensive Plan Amen dmen ts merited
further study and hefd a workshop on said, amendments on
septeriber 10, 1984.
These hearings are being he.l-d pursuant to Tit1e 67, Chapter
65 Idaho Code, the Revised and Compiled ordinances of the City of
Meridian, and the l4eridian Comprehensj-ve Plan' Any and aI1
interested persons may testify or present documentary evidence.

Mr. Kenneth Redenius - High Company of Idaho was present. Mr. Redeniustord the coumission that he was requesting their imput on the possibilityof a Restaurant & Motel DevelopmenC on the property south of Jbhnson Rental .

Once the applicatron is complete, the Cornxrission nny appointa Comnlittee to report on t}te application and the Commrssion
shall hold a public hearing ona dhe application. At said
hearing, the amendment shall be presented to the Commission
by the applicant and the Coruoission shall accept the public
testimony and evidence. Either after the hearing or at a
later reeting held within 45 days of the public hearingr, the
Corunission shall decide whether the application merits furtherstudy. If the Conunission does not find that the applicationmerits further study, it shall make finclings of fact andconclusions supporting its decision. If the Commission
deterrnins the application meri.ts further study, it need notprepare findings or conclusions. All applicants shall benotified of the Commission's decision by maiI. Any applicant
vhose application is denied nay appeal to the City Councilwithin thirty (30) days from the date of notificatjon of thedecision by f iJ.ing a written appeal stating the reasons forthe appeal. The Ci ty Council may direct tlre Conmission toconsider any application previously rejected which the City
