DESIGNED TO FIT MOSI FURNACES
When we set out to build Spreod-Heol burners we slorted
first by checking fhe BTU/Hr. rsnges of hundreds of cool
burning furnoces ond their physicol dimensions. Then we
designed three models to cover oll domeslic conversions
poying porticulor otlention to the UP-2 model with o
BTU/Hr. input ronge thot will convert 90% of oll domestic
wood or cool furnoces. Then rve decided on lhe proper
tube length for exoct odiustment to lhe cenler of mosl
furnoces by using o lelescoping venluri lhol lengthens o
moximum o{ seven inches.
EASY IO INSIAI.I AND ADJUST
After thot, o tube ossembly with eory.to.odiust oir rhuttert
ond o conlrol moni{old were fitted together. The whole
unil wos lhen mounled in on enclosure lhqt permitled occess
to the qir shullers for eosy qdiustmenl. Legs (odiustoble

simple height odiuslment ond "Spreod-Heot" wos reody
for testing.
A BURNER DESIGNED FOR YOU

A BURNER THE CUSTOMER WANTS
lncorporoted into this line of burners ore oll the feotures
thol customers wont. The wide ronge of ovoilqble controls
lets them select the sofeguords they wont, oulside ignitioh

made deep-sloned ports are o[ the same basic construction as
those engineered for large "tough-job" commercial iostalla-
tions where the Sonner Airbleod head is acknowledged to be
without equal.
AIRALEND - The unique design of the burner head permits
the right amount of air on each side and fot the full length of
each Blue Ribbon Flame. This insures the proper mixiog of
gas and air for the best combustioo.
AIR coNTRol - Air box design insures tha( all secondary air

seal-in 6oor is required inside the firebox.
CoRRECI APPtlcArloN - Sin.e the heat ftom the Blue Rib'

directed to rhe heating surface of the furnace the instant your
thermostat calls for heat. There are no heavv refractories or
bafres to absorb heat.

parts are noI subject to the heat of the flame or the products
of combustion. There are no light llimsy parts to deteriorate.
