Dear Sir:
Reference is made to the telephone conversation with your
office in regards to the Facilities Demmonstratj.on Grant project for
the C.Lty of Meridian, Idaho. Tnis study incorporates the construction
of a drainage well drainage line to cover the water table in the area
of the sewer lines.
The City of M--ridian agrees to raising the total cost of the
project from $21,435.00 to $25, 000. The additional funds are to
be used for pos t-con struction studles and reports.
The post construction study will involve the measurement
of water pumped to w.Jste and B . O . D . report and pumped water .
AIso a study will be made of rainfail during period, irrigation f]ow,
and depth of ground water. Mr,)asurements of flow in sewers to
determine exfiltration as well as infiltration. These various m-^asure-
ments wiII be correlated rvith the f.lows at the sewage plants. Tne
power costs for pumping will be studied in conjunction with the pump-
ing program .

Build a cricket using 2 x 6 and 2 x 4 jolst cut on a taper and l-/2n plyrrood deck' to
direct the rater to the drain on the west (front) side of your buildiDg. The crlcket to
be 12t rride at the base, sloped both directions fron the njddl-e and taper to 0 at the
other (west) end. Then refoof the entire area of approx. 8J0 sq. ft.' including the
nertr crlcket, with a 3 ply, 15 year speclficatj-on Asbestos roof. We propose to llft the
Air Conditioner with ou! jack sufficiently to roof under it. We wi l'l roof under the
maze of ducts on the roof.
