A speclal meeting of the ltGyor and Council of the Clty of
Merldian, Ada County, Idaho, was held on I{arch 22, 196), at the
hour of 2:00 otclock P.M., at the Clty HaIl ln the City of
Ir{eridlan, Idaho, being the regular meeting place of the t{ayor
and Council, at whlch m6etj.ng there were presont and answerlng
the ro11 cal-1 the followlng, constituting a quorum:

Thereupon the folloring proceedings, among others, r.ere duly
had and taken.
Thls is a special meetlng of the Mayor and Council held at
the cal-1 of the Mayor, after p€rsonal rritten notice thereof was
given by the Clerk to each councilman, and the object of the
meeting rra s subn:j.tted to the council- in rIltlng. The ca11,
written notice of the meeting and object thereof were, at the
direction of the }rrayor and rlth the unanimous approval of the
council, ordered entered on the journal by the clerk and are as

A motion was made by Councilman Wifliam S. Brown and
seconded by Councilman W. Dean ltlaves that all rules
requlrlng ordinances of general and permanent nature to be fu11y
and distinctly read on three different days, be dispensed vith,
and that such ordl,nance be placed upon 1ts final passage.
Thereupon the Mayorondered the clerk to call the ro11 upon such
motion and th6 ro11 call upon such motion was as follows:

Absent: R. S. Anderson
Those voting Nay: None
The Mayor thereupon declared that the notion, having been
duly passed by not Less than three-fourths of the councl1, had
been duly carried and the Mayor thereupon approved the same.
Thereupon Councl lna n I{il-liam S . Brorn moved that such
ordinance be adopted and be given the number 111 , which motion
was seconded by Councilnran W. Dean l,ta yes
The M ayor then order€d the Clerk to calf the ro11 on the
passage of th6 ordlnance, and the ro11 caLt on such passage of

The Mayor thereupon approved the ordlnance and decl-ared the
ordinance to have been duly passed and lnstructed the clerk to
number the ordinance number 111 .
It was moved by Councilman Wj-1liam S. Brown and seconded
by Councilman W. Dean Mayes that the Cferk of the City of
Meridien be ordered to publish such Ordinance No. lU in fir1l
lnmediately and in at l-east one issue of the News-Times, a news-
paper published and of general circulation in the clty of Meridian
Ada County, fdaho.
The ltta yor ordered the clerk to call the ro11 on such motion
and the ro11 cal_I upon such motion was as follows:
