Honorable Mayor Storey,

Dear Mayor Storey:
As you know we have made arrangements wtth the Texaco
Oil Company to locate a beaud ful new service stauon on our property
along the East line of Idaho State Highway 69. (Drawing is enclosed)
It will be necessary for us to provlde a street for ingress
and egress for the public to use the faclllties of this station. We are
proposing a street wlth a width of 40 feet, and for the present time, the
length of 230 feet which places thls street along the South line of the
property that has been acquired by the Texaco Oil Company. It would
be greatly appreciated if the clty would dedlcate thls area as a street.
We wlll provlde the necessary flnanclng and secure the
contractor to put the street ln according to the speclflcatlons requlred
by the clty of Merldian. Would you be llnd enough to ins gate this ac-
tlon with the City Council just as soon as possible. The Texaco Oil
Company is anxious to get under way almost lmmediately.
If there is anything further that you need from us please
feel free to either drop me a note or call. collect, so that we can pro-
ceed wlth the dedication of this area to the ctty of Merldian.
I don't know lf lt is necessary at thls Ume to suggest a
name or a street address for thls particular street. If a name is desired
you might conslder Treasure Street, Iteasure Way or something such as
that. Regards.
Si erely,
ill

I believe you and everyone in the City of Meridian are ac-
