FOR ALL PURPOSES FOR THE CITY 0F MERIDIAN, ADA COUMY, IDAHO, FOR
TIIE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING THE IST DAY OF JANUARY, 1970, AND ENDING
THE 3lst DAY OF DECEI,IBER, 1970, AND GMNG NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PRIOR TO PASSAGE OF IHE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION BILL.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO:
Section l. That the following classified estimate of the
probable amount of money necessary to be raised for all purposes
in the City of Meridian, Ada CounEy, Idaho, for the fiscal year
beginning the lst day of January, 1970 and ending the 3lsE day of
December , L970, be publish ed in the Valley News-Times , a weekly
newspaper published in the City of Meridian, for two publications
beginning with the issue of February 5Eh and l2th, and the Notice
of Public Hearing m said estimate and probable levy required to
raise said sum be published therewith.

Section 5. Notice is hereby given that the estinated expenses
and appropriation therefor as herein set forth will require a levy
for general reserve and municipal purposes for the City of Meridian
of not Eo exceed 35 mills on the dollar and in compliance with
Section 5l-1002 Idaho Code, the Mayor and the City Council will
hold a public hearing on March 2, L970 at 8:00 P.M., at which time
any person interested may appear and protest such proposed estimate
and levy prior to passage of an annual appropriation bi1l.
