At the request of the City C1erk, this proposal is subnitted for
audit of the books and records of the City of l'leridian under the
following terns and c onditions:
1. Period to be audited - Calendar Year 1965
2. The audit rril-l be perfomed in accordance rith laws and
regulations of the State of ldaho as they apply to
Ifunicipalities and to Certif ied fublic Acco,.mtants, and
ui-IL also be in accordance nith the Uniforrn Specificatians
for Audits of Cities and Villages of the State of ldaho as
aciopted by the Bureau of Public Accounts, December It L956 t
and wiIL include all items specifieci in the lvlfu inurn kequire-
ments but will not include the Optional hovisions.
), It is expected that preliminary rork can be begun on the
audit irr December 1965, be completed in January and February
t966, anci. the report submitted by about l,{arch .)1, 1!65.
!. The books and records of the City sha11 be completed,
balanced and prepared for audit by January 3L, 1966.
5. The fee for performing the audit rrilL be at the rate of
$35.00 per day. It is estimeted that the total fee w11I be
about $J50.00. If, horever, the books and records are notin order, errors are so numerous as to render the records
unreliabl-e, or defalcatlons are found, additional time wouLd
be requireci to perforn the audit and the fee ri buld be corres-
pondingly larger.6. ff the work j-s assigned to me, I shall personall-y perform theaudit, assisted at times by members of my staff. My quallfica-
tions include Idaho C.P.A. certificate No. 26J, dated August

areas and real property located in the City of Meridian which have
been annexed subsequent to I January, 1965, ot the 6th day of
