An a-mendecl resolution tleclarlng the intention of the City
Council of the City of Meritlian, Idaho, to construct sanit ary
sewers, with the necessarJr nan-h.oles and appurt enanc e s r along
certain public serer easenents and in parts of certaln streets
within saitl City; to create Local Improvement District No. 1 for
Itreridian, IC[aho, for the purpose of naking said improvements; to
d.efray the cost ancl e:qrenses of saitl d.istrict and of said inprove-
neDts by speclal assessneats to be levied. and asseseed upon the
property benefiteci by such improvenents; declaring saitt improve-
ments to be original improvenents; stating the estlnatetl total
cost of such inprovenents antl the klnd. and character thereof;
fixing a tlne in vhich protests agalnst the proposeil i-nprovenents
or the creation of such d.istrict nay be f1led ln the office of
the clerk; fixing a time when such protests sha11 be heard and
conslderetl by the council; and. cLirecting notice thereof to be

after set forth arrcL to create a 1oca1 funprovenent district in the
City of Meridian to be known as trIJocal Improvement District
No. l for Meridianr ldahorr, the cost antt exleases of which are to
be levletl and assessed upon the property benefitetl by sucb
inprovenents.
Section 2.llhe points between which said, inqrrovements are
to be nad.e are stated to be the following:
(1) Along an easement fron the existing eigbt-inch
sewer llne on Cottonwood. Avenue (U.S. Highway No. 7o), beginning
at a polnt that 1s approxinateay ,25 feet East of the Northwest
corner of Section 18, llotuahlp , Northt Range 1 East, Soise
fhereas, the City Couaci.l of the City of Meridianr Idaho,
deens it necessary ancl desirab]e to create rllocal Inprovement
Dlstrlct No. l for Merldia:a, Idahorrr for the purpose of rnaking
said lmprovenents anal providing fox the p eirneDt of the cost and
expenses thereof; and
Yhereas, the estinated total cost of said district and of
said improveuents is the sum of $15'OOO.OO, of rhich cost, in the
judguent of the City Council of the City of lderid.iaa, it is fair
and equitable that no portion thereof be borne by the City fron
its general fuads; and
Ihereas, the City Couacil proposes to defray the cost and.
e)q)enses of said inprovenents to the extent of $llrOOO.OO by
special assessments to be assessed against the propexty beneflted
