HELD ON 2 AUGUST L965 AT 8:OO OICLOCK P M.
The Mayor and Council of the City of Meridian, Ada County,
Idaho, met in Regular Meeting at the regular meeting place in the
City Hal1 in Meridian, ldaho, on 2 August, 1965, at 8:00 orclock,
P.M., pursuant to previous order of the Council and as authorized
by statute, there being present upon ro11 call the following
members of the Council, constituting a quorum and being a majority

The meeting was calIed to order by the Mayor who announced
that one of the purposes of this meeting was to hear protests,
if any, of the creation of a Local Improvement District for the
construction of sanitary serrTers with the necessary manholes and
appurtenances along certain public sewer easements and in parts
of certain streets within the said City, to be known as LOCAL
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1.
The Clerk informed the Mayor that

man who moved its adoption, which motion was

Meridian, that they have examined
and Council of the City of
the Affidavit of Publication of
Notice of Intention which is on file in the office of the City
Clerk, relative to the creation of proposed Local Improvement
District No. 1 for the constrDtion of sanitary sewers with the
necessary manholes and appurtenances, along certain pubLic sewer
easements and in parts of certain streets within said City, in the
City of Meridian, Idaho. That the City Clerk mailed a copy of the
Notice of Resolution and Notice of Hearing Protests to each owne r
within the proposed District, and that an Affidavit of Mailing of
Notice of Resolution of Intention to creaE said Local Improvement
District No. I is on file in the office of the City Clerk, and
that said Resolution of Intention passed by the City Council on
12 July, 1965, be, and the same is hereby confirmed.

Section 1. The City of Meritlian, Iclaho, d.oes hereby declare
its intention to construct sanitary sewers, with tre necessary
nanholes and appurtenances, along certain public sewer easements
antl ln parts of certain streets in the City of Merid.ian as herein-
after set forth and to sreate a loca1 improvement d-istrict in the
City of Meridian to be krrown as rrlocal Improvement District
No. I for Meridian, Tdahorl the cost and. expenses of which are to
be levied. and. assessed upon the pxoperty benefitetl by such
improvenent s.
Section 2.The points between which said. inprovements are
to be mad-e are stated- to be the following:
(1) Along an easenent from the existing eight-inch
sewer l-ine on Cottonwoocl Avenue (U.S. tti gnway No. 10), beginning
at a point that is approximately ,25 feet East of the Northwest
corner of Section 18, Township ] North, Range 1 East, Boise
Merid.ian; thence in a Southerly d.irection 1280 feet, more or
1ess, to a point of entling which is jl) feet Xast of the f,esterly
bou-nd.ary of said" Section 18, said point being in the right of
way of the street running along the Southerly boundary of l_.,o t 1
