I have a question regarding this proposed ordinance. I have a bum knee and ride a mobility scooter to and from mailbox and to walk my dog. It's so low I use the ramps on the sidewalk to cross streets. My concern with this ordinance relates to the issue faced by a lot of elderly and that is transportation. I don't go out of my subdivision but have thought about going to Costco using sidewalks which is still not near a busy street going in back way. Please don't take away our ability to get around.
