Hi, i live in meridian and am concerned about the proposed atv utv ordinance, i belive it would degrade the personal
freedom that idaho citizens are so proud of and it would create a privilege for meadow lake subdivision and spurwig
subdivision while taking away the freedom of every other meridian citizen thus creating a second class citizen which
should be unacceptable. There are already laws on the books that would address any unruly operation of these vehicles
on the roads or any accidents that occur because of it, there is no need to further regulate meridians citizens in this
matter as this ordinance is unfair and tramples on our individual right.
Further more section 7-5-3 F seeks to regulate operation on private land which is completely against idahos way of self
governing and is embracing the unnecessary regulation of its citizens just like some of the more heavily regulated failed
states. In every way this ordinace is not the way of meridian or idaho, it creates 2 classes of citizens, it unessarliy
regulates private use of land and gives privilage to 2 subdivisions while trampling everyone else. Please consider which
side you support on this very carefully, sometimes things as these should be left in the hands of idahos citizens to use
common sense and there right to self governing
