Community Planning The City of Meridian has requested feedback regarding the proposed annexation of
Engineering&Surveying 1.05 acres at 2972 E.Leslie Drive with R-2(Low Density Residential)zoning in order
Permitting to allow an existing home and proposed accessory structure to connect to city sewer
Ada County Commissioners and water.

Kendra Kenyon,Third District Ada County is supportive of the proposed annexation as it is compatible with Strategy
5.7d of the Ada County Comprehensive Plan, which encourages existing
developments served by septic systems to connect to central sewer once it becomes
available. The proposed R-2 Zone is also compatible with the Meridian
Comprehensive Plan, as adopted by Ada County, as it designates the site as Low
Density Residential, which is primarily intended for single-family homes at densities
of three dwelling units or less per acre.
