I do not support Compass Pointe application #H-2020-0100 To Whom it may Concern/City Council, I am writing
to you about the proposed Compass Pointe zoning application and development at the corner of Victory and S
Locust Grove intersection for the development of the 4.69 acre lot consisting of 48 high density townhomes and
a private road. I live in Willow Creek, and already deal with extreme traffic issues. Getting out of our area, going
onto Meridian Road is life-challenging as it is, and that many people in a very small area will increase the traffic
on Meridian and Victory roads. And….... I realize this is not of concern to you, I would miss my view of the
mountains, and the changing colors of the field. As a family counselor,, I am concerned for the children who will
live in the area, and the density of traffic issues.
Our schools in Meridian would be stressed beyond how stressed they already are, with a whole new group of
families. While I understand the need for families to have a place to live, I think it is lacking in forethought and
planning to make all the new living spaces so compact, adding a lot of issues and problems to otherwise stable
communities.
I am totally against the passage of Compass Pointe application #H-2020-0100. Sincerely yours,
