Engineering&Surveying The City of Meridian has requested feedback regarding the proposed annexation of
Permitting 0.75 acres at 2690 E. Franklin Road with R-2 (Low Density Residential) zoning in
Ada County Commissioners order to allow an existing home to connect to city sewer and water.

Patrick Malloy,Second District Ada County is supportive of the proposed annexation as it is compatible with
Kendra Kenyon, Third District Strategy 5.7d of the Ada County Comprehensive Plan,which encourages all existing
developments served by septic systems to connect to central sewer once it becomes
available. While the Land Use Map of the Meridian Comprehensive Plan, as adopted
by Ada County, designates the site as Commercial, Ada County is supportive of the
proposed R-2 zone as the property currently contains a single-family home, and no
new development is proposed as part of the application.
