To Whom it may Concern/City Council, I am writing to you about the proposed Compass Pointe zoning
application and development at the corner of Victory and S Locust Grove intersection for the development of
the 4.69 acre lot consisting of 48 high density townhomes and a private road. I am in full opposition of the
rezoning and development as I reside in Green Valley, a nearby development in Meridian. Not only will it
negatively affect the already increasing traffic, but with the inclusion of a roundabout it would slow things down
for residents to an unsupportable degree. It would not only be an inconvenience, but increased traffic could also
pose a hazard to pedestrians and children that play in the area. Further, our school systems in South Meridian
are already overstressed and this will only add to an already taxed system. This is a strong concern and I
therefore oppose the addition of this zoning and development as it will create higher traffic, a direct threat to
pedestrians, and an overstressed school system. Regards,
Erin Lokteff
