They will be added to the record of the project application. Although the item is scheduled to be heard at the September 17, 2020 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting, the project will not be heard, as the application did not meet the necessary legal requirements related to public hearings. The application will be vacated from the agenda at that hearing, and the applicant will be required to resubmit the application if they want to proceed. The roads in this area barely support the existing traffic, and even with 1 the widening of Locust Grove, Victory is still only 2 lanes E and W and Locust Grove S of Victory is still only 2 lanes as well. There is another subdivision being proposed across the street on the NW corner as well. With both of these new developments, plus the additional neighborhoods already being built on Victory W of Locust Grove, traffic will only get worse. Also, from a previous development proposal I attended, the developers stated that the schools are near capacity…I know very well that schools are AT capacity or we would not be asked constantly to for additional funding for more schools. S Meridian residents also expressed the importance of open spaces - this does not merely mean a walking path and a patch of lawn for the kids to play on within the said proposed community. It means open fields where wildlife can be supported and enjoyed/viewed by everyone. Main concerns for these projects continues to be the backlash to high density housing in more rural settings, the desire for open/natural spaces to keep some of the appeal of the rural/farming community that we all love, the negative impact on the already terrible traffic situation, and school capacity. For all of these reasons, I oppose this development. Thank you, Jennifer Loveday 1113 E Crest Ridge Dr. Meridian ID 83642 2
