Broadway Avenue #102 Meridian, ID 83642 RE: H-2020-0097 / 2810 E Franklin Road / Annexation Sonya, The City of Meridian has requested feedback regarding the proposed annexation of 1.01 acres at 2810 E. Franklin Road with C-G (General Retail and Service Commercial) zoning in order to accommodate an automotive tools and equipment business. Ada County is supportive of the proposed annexation as it is compatible with Goal 2.2 of the Ada County Comprehensive Plan, which encourages urban development be directed to Areas of City Impact where investments in urban services have already been made. The proposed zone and use of the property are also compatible with the Future Land Use Map of the Meridian Comprehensive Plan, as adopted by Ada County, as it designates the site as Commercial, which is intended to provide a full range of commercial and retail uses to serve area residents and visitors.
