Dear Mr. Berg:
The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) appreciates the opportunity to comment on the
above referenced application.
Per the city's October 27 notice (dated October 4,2005) regarding the applicant's request
for preliminary plat approval of 48 building lots and 7 other lots in a proposed R-8 zone for
Milford Creek Subdivision No.2; ITD has the following comment:
Access. Wainright Drive is located at the half-mile point between McMillan and Ustick, and
is a planned future signal site (when warranted). It appears site design for Milford Creek
Subdivision No.2 provides for future connectivity to Wainright Dr. and to all adjacent
subdivisions.
Milford Creek Subdivision No.1 is adjacent to both Eagle Road and Milford Creek
Subdivision No.2. It appears to be City of Boise jurisdiction and still unplatted. Because of
the connectivity provided, Milford Creek Subdivision No.1 will have access to Eagle Road
via Wainright Dr., and will not need direct access to Eagle Road.
