> I am writing to express my strong opposition to the rezoning and construction of Horse Meadows. Rezoning
this property to accommodate 27 homes is not in the best interest of the current residents. As a resident and
homeowner, I have major concerns for safety and traffic. Traffic has already greatly increased in the last
couple of years. It is becoming increasingly difficult to exit the subdivision onto Black Cat from Castlebrook
subdivision. Since we have lived in our home, a charter school has been built on the corner of Black Cat and
Franklin. Currently, the Hensley Station housing is being built right next to Horse Meadows. This will house 65
townhomes that will bring a significant amount of traffic. There are multiple home developments that have or
are being built on Black Cat and Ustick/McMillan. There is a church under construction on Black Cat and
Cherry Ln. Millbrae subdivision is being built on the corner of Cherry Lane and Black Cat which will add an
additional 41 homes to the area. Neighborhoods on Black Cat will be under a very significant amount of
construction as it is. Adding this additional development will create less than desirable road conditions and a
large influx of traffic. Currently there are not any infrastructure expansions on Black Cat that would ease the
additional traffic congestion. While I understand that development of this land is inevitable, I ask that it be
limited to a small number of homes and delayed until there are reasonable road developments made. The
amount of traffic created from 27 homes in this area would create serious concerns for motorist and
pedestrian safety.

> Additionally, Pine road is traveled heavily by both Castlebrook and Chesterfield neighborhoods. It is the main
entrance to these neighborhoods. Adding 27 homes which will enter and exit at the very corner of Pine and
Black Cat should be a significant safety concern.

> In the ACHD staff report, it states the number of vehicles traveled. I would like to point out that those
numbers are from 2017 and 2018. While they may be the most recent data available, the traffic has
significantly increased since then (due to all of the other construction) and will continue to increase with all of
the current projects. Meanwhile, there have not been any remarkable road improvements on Black Cat.

safe from over population. To rezone this without any regard to infrastructure, the current homeowners and
residents, and construction already in progress is wreckless. Please, do not allow this.

Subject:Horse Meadows Rezoning
Good morning,
I am writing to express my strong opposition to the rezoning and construction of Horse Meadows. Rezoning
this property to accommodate 27 homes is not in the best interest of the current residents. As a resident and
homeowner, I have major concerns for safety and traffic. Traffic has already greatly increased in the last
couple of years. It is becoming increasingly difficult to exit the subdivision onto Black Cat from Castlebrook
subdivision. Since we have lived in our home, a charter school has been built on the corner of Black Cat and
Franklin. Currently, the Hensley Station ousing is being built right next to Horse Meadows.
Currently there are not any infrastructure expansions on Black Cat that would ease the

limited to a small number of homes and delayed until there are reasonable road developments made. The
amount of traffic created from 27 homes in this area would create serious concerns for motorist and
pedestrian safety.
One of the main reasons we purchased our home was because it was in an established area that seemed safe
from over population. To rezone this without any regard to infrastructure, the current homeowners and
residents, and construction already in progress is wreckless. Please, do not allow this.
