Ada COÜI\ty Landfill- Development öfNew Solid Waste Disposal Site
Dear Mayor deWeerd and City Council Members:
In compliance with Idaho Code § 31-4407 A (2), Ada County has prepared the attached
feasibility study for the North Ravine CelI of the Ada County Landfill. Ada County hereby gives
notice to all IDùI¡icipalíties within the boundaries of Ada COlmty that Ada County inter~ds to
establish a new JandtlIl. This notice is given at least one hundred eighty (180) days prior to the
scheduled initiation of constrùction ofthe landfilL
Within ninety (90) days of the receipt of this notice, each municìpality shaH respond to the notice
provided, indicating the municipa1Ìty's intelltion regarding participation in the use ofthe'
proposed landfill or to develop its 0\\11 indepe:ndent landfill that must be operated for the
projected duration of the proposed COtUlty landfill. (Idaho Code § 31-4407A(3») ,
