A minor error was discovered on the Future Land Use Map, but has been corrected on the
attached copy. The error recently brought to staff's attention is that the ACHD Park-n-
Ride lot near the intersection of Overland & Eagle Road was shown on the wrong lot.
The "Public/Quasi-Public" land use designation for the Park-n-Ride has been shifted
northeast fi.om the comer to the correct location.
Staff has reviewed the correction with legal counsel, who agreed that the error could be
corrected without re-opening the public hearing on the map. The property owner has
been contacted and is in agreement with the correction.
The attached map, dated May 30, 2002, should incorporate all modifications approved by
the City Council to date, including the above correction. It is staff's intention to make
this the final version of the Future Land Use Map for the Comprehensive Plan, unless
otherwise directed by Council.
