To Honorable Mayor Simison and to the Members of the City of Meridian City Council,
This letter is to show our continued opposition to the proposed Delano Subdivision (H-2019-0027) by
Boll Cook Investments, LLC. Our prior letters were March 16th of 2020 and May 10th of 2020.
We are not going to go over all the points in depth again, but will bullet point several of the key ones
in our opinion.
1) We bought and moved to our N. Dashwood Pl home several years ago because of its serenity and
closed street/cul-de-sac as the street name states. There was no signage stating anything was slated
for the future.
2) This was a huge financial move for us by cashing out our retirement plan. Making this a through
street would severely impact our property values by 10-20% (between $48,000 - $102,000). Sources
are Realtor.com and Zillow.com for today's property values on our home. Attached is the link

3) The through traffic on our street would, simply put, be dangerous with our front facing yards. Any
more on this topic would just be redundant at this point. Just see all the prior letters from all of us.
Again, there are many more issues here, but submitting letter after letter stating the same things over
and over again must be tiresome to read and manage, so we are keeping this letter short.
Lastly, it appears legal representation has been introduced. We too may be seeking representation
against the City of Meridian and Group One Sotheby's International Realty for everyone's failure to
properly disclose before we purchased.
Really not sure how we got to this stage as common sense states there are better options already
outlined by Malissa Bernard and others throughout the years. The City of Meridian failed proper
signage at the end of our street AND has the ability and authority to close this street permanently as
the street name states.
