Hello Malissa. Excellent questions as always. We have gotten more comfortable with Zoom, and are a little less
restrictive with presentations, videos, etc. Anyone who signs up to testify will have the ability to share their screen and
show their slides. We do need to include them in the public record so receiving them in advance is always appreciated. It
is much easier than trying to track someone down the next day. Only one speaker can represent an HOA. You cannot
split by residents and choose who is giving what time. That said, if a representative from Alpine Pointe was representing
multiple home owners, they would be allotted 10 minutes. Others would have three minutes if they are not being
represented by the representative. If you have legal counsel, they can speak for the HOA, but it would not be a second
person allotted 10 minutes. Only one person will be granted ten minutes to speak on behalf of a group, preferably the
HOA. Everyone else gets three minutes regardless of \\whether they are representing themselves or a group. Receiving
testimony early is fantastic. Although not required, if they submit no later than Friday afternoon, we can be assured
Council has ample opportunity to read and review.
As a reminder, I can only control Zoom on my end. I cannot troubleshoot or fix items related to someone's connection. I
recommend everyone test their microphones (and cameras if they prefer) to be sure they work. We will give each
person who speaks the ability to turn on their camera and microphone. We bring in each person one at a time, and
remove them at the end of their time. Please remember during that move from "Attendee" to "Panelist" the person will
leave and rejoin. It will look to them like they were temporarily kicked out. This is just the process of movement in
Zoom. Please let me know if there are questions about this.

Hello,
I understand conditions have drastically changed again, and we are under more stringent parameters with COVID-19. In
light of current times, we have asked our neighbors to attend the meeting safely via ZOOM and not attend at City
Hall. We appreciate your well-orchestrated meetings and hearings under very unusual conditions, though it would be
our neighborhood’s preference to address our elected officials in person.
To keep the process organized and streamlined, we have also asked that any testimony be submitted 72-hours before
the meeting, so the Mayor and City Council may have time to read the testimony, though there may be pieces of
testimony submitted later.
We have written an email for all neighbors to be distributed by our HOA management outlining Virtual Meeting
instructions and so forth, 72-hours preferred for testimony submission, how to view the City Council meeting, etc., and
how to submit testimony in advance.
If there are any presentations, they are suggested to be submitted by noon the day of the meeting, correct? Would
legal representation and/or neighborhood representative for neighbors of Dashwood be allotted ten minutes? We can
provide a letter with signatures of neighbors on Dashwood stating we would like the designee to speak for us, and there
are eight separate households that would give up their time to ask the designee to speak. The HOA might also like to
speak, of course, for other items and topics re. Delano. Would ten minutes be allowed for the HOA? Please advise on
times allowed, and thank you in advance for your assistance.
