Delano Subdivision
Message:
On July 28th there will be a hearing regarding the re-consideration of the Delano Subdivision. I
am a resident of Alpine Pointe and the opening of Dashwood into Alpine Pointe would put a
great deal of traffic burden on our neighborhood. Traffic from the Brickyard Apts. and the

Delano Subdivision would be cutting through our subdivision to access McMillan Road where
there are many schools, parks, churches etc. Secondly they would have easier access to our
private park and swimming pool. The Delano Subdivision would be perfect for a 55 and older
gated community particularly since the parcel to the east is being considered for an Assisted
Living Complex. A gate, an emergency entrance or completely blocking Dashwood would be an
alternative. I hope you deny Delano request and if possible make suggestions as to how we all
can proceed.
