Bill,
I did not see that the condition we requested on the Sewer Lift Station Location and connection to Linder Road
in the first phase was added to the staff report. Will staff be bringing it up at the hearing. Please let us know what we
need to prepare for if anything. Thank you

Bill,
Please refer to the correspondence with Warren Stewart and Bruce Freckleton below:
We are formally requesting that the following change be added to the Conditions of Approval for the Cedarbrook
Subdivision. Please add our request to the record and pass it on to the City Council. Thank you
A. P UBLIC W ORKS
1. Site Specific Conditions of Approval
1.1 This proposed development falls within the Interim Southwest Sewer Phasing Plan as developed by the
Meridian Public Works Department. As such, it will require the construction of a temporary sewer lift
station, trunk line, and pressurized sewer force main. Applicant has proposed an alternate location for the lift
station, and Public Works has no issue with the proposal in principle, however the applicant shall be
responsible to construct trunk line sewer back up to Linder Road, and along the Linder Road frontage with
the first phase of development.

It appears that specific language requiring the sewer mainline in Linder in phase one was left out of the condition.
However, completing the sewer line to Linder in phase one was discussed with Toll Brothers, and the PW department
supports that condition. If you want to bring that up in the hearing, PW will support that request.

Subject: Linder and Amity Sewer Lift Station Location
Warren and Clint,
I am writing you concerning the location of the Linder and Amity Temporary Lift Station Location. We have
discussed this issue with you on several occasions. We are concerned that with the development of the Cedarbrook
Subdivision by Toll Southwest, LLC will create a situation where our property located on the northeast corner of the
Amity and Linder Road intersection will not have access to sewer for a significant amount of time. The Condition of
Approval that is proposed for the Cedarbrook Subdivision only states that the developer will be required to stub sewer
to Linder Road and does not give a time frame.
Last week I spoke with Adam Capell with Toll, we discussed this situation and he assured me that they would be
developing their first phase along Linder Road. I told him our concerns, and he indicated that he would not have a
problem if we requested the Condition of Approval be adjusted before the City Council Hearing to include a clause that
requires a sewer stub to Linder Road in the First phase of development.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns with this request.
Thank you
