NEW FORM SUBMISSION
Hey there,
Someone just submitted your form on meridiancity.org/council/request. Here's what they
had to say:
Request for Mayor and Council:
Name:
Abbe Pofelski
_replyto:
apofelski@yahoo.com
Street Address:
677 Canvasback Way
City:
Meridian
2
State:
ID
Zip Code:
83642
Subject:
Tanner apartment complex on Waltman Lane
Message:
I had hoped the land would be appropriated for another park. Meridian has been the destination
of so many families in order to raise them in a family friendly city. A park would provide a dose of
nature's stress medication to calm down morning and evening rush to the freeway (please no
skateboard ramps) - it would be a picnic destination, reunion destination. The location directly at
the freeway onramp to the city presents a terrific visual of old town values, friendliness,
hospitality. Instead of cramped, congested, tacky apartments - of which there are already
enough to suffocate home owners - instead of another strip mall of impersonal, tasteless
franchise businesses - trees, walking paths, rocky water features, shrubs, flowers, a band
pavilion, old-timey light poles, park benches, swing-sets.
