Good Afternoon Sam,
Thank you for providing comments on a potential project next to your subdivision. At this time, the City does not have a
formal application for this specific property. If/when the application is submitted to the City and you are within 300’ of
the project boundary, you will receive notification from the City of the public hearing date and the property owner will
also be responsible to place public hearing signs along all street frontages abutting the subject property. Public
testimony will be welcomed at that time.
In the meantime, you can use the attached link to track when an application is scheduled for hearing:

Subject: Challenger Development @ Amity and Hillsdale
Hello, I am a resident in the Century Farm subdivision. I have recently received notice of Challenger
Development's preliminary plat plan and went to the community meeting regarding a subdivision proposal by
Challenger Development. At the meeting it was stated several times that the City of Meridian has directed the
engineering company to come up with a plan that would include apartment buildings in this development. I am
opposed to such a development that would include apartments and townhomes in this area. Century Farm,
Hilldale, Sky Mesa and Rock Hampton communities all have been created with a livable, vibrant and connected
neighborhood living space. Adding apartments and townhomes will simply destroy what has been so
thoughtfully created. In addition, the school situation here is not such that it can support the level of
development proposed. I strongly urge you to reconsider this type of development in established neighborhood.
Additionally I would like to request a copy or a link to the City of Meridian comprehensive plan.

Thank you
