Good Afternoon Jennifer,
Thank you for providing comments on a potential project next to your subdivision. At this time, the City does
not have a formal application for this specific property. If/when the application is submitted to the City and
you are within 300’ of the project boundary, you will receive notification from the City of the public hearing
date and the property owner will be responsible to place public hearing signs along all street frontages. Public
testimony will be welcomed at that time.
Sincerely,
Bill Parsons, AICP | Planning Supervisor City of Meridian | Community Development Dept.

Subject: Zoning
To whom it may concern,
My name is Jennifer Campos and I am a resident of Century Farms. I was recently made aware of the
challengers plats plan development for the corner of Amity and Hillsdale road. I am very concerned about
this development going in with town homes and apartments. First the school, Hillsdale elementary is already
over capacity and kids that have lived in this neighborhood can’t get in. With the influx of kids in apartments
and town homes will only add to the stress of an already overwhelmed school.
Second, I am really concerned that this development would decrease the value of our homes that we have
worked so hard to build over the years. Third, traffic will be even more dangerous than it already is. With
apartments and town homes, the streets in our neighborhood would not be as safe.

Also, I worry that crime in this area would increase exponentially. I lived in a nice area that then build
apartments and town homes next to it and ended up having to move due to crime rates going up and it was
not safe for my children.
Please consider these reasons before you make a final decision. I fear many would leave this beautiful area if
this is allowed to be built.
Thank you,
Jennifer Campos
