Good Afternoon Kevin,
Thank you for providing comments on a potential project next to your subdivision. At this time, the City does
not have a formal application for this specific property. If/when the application is submitted to the City and
you are within 300’ of the project boundary, you will receive notification from the City of the public hearing
date and the property owner will be responsible to place public hearing signs along all street frontages. Public
testimony will be welcomed at that time.
Sincerely,
Bill Parsons, AICP | Planning Supervisor City of Meridian | Community Development Dept.

Subject: Center villa subdivision concerns
Hello
I am writing with concerns to the changes of plans for the land that the new centerville subdivision is trying to
build on. The school district is already busing kids to a school 5 miles away past closer schools like siena, desert
sage, Mary McPherson, and Lake Hazel. The busing is an issue. If schools aren’t able to suit the needs of
students living directly across the street from them I believe it is time to build other schools south of the
freeway or not allow as high a density as the proposed change would allow. It is a concern to have an area of
higher density within an area that hasn’t been planned for that within the proposed Meridian vision plan.

Traffic is another concern. Amity, Eagle, and Cloverdale are all one lane. Adding 204 lots to an area with 39
acres will add substantial traffic to an area that ACHD already needs to think about expanding before future
developments move forward.
Thanks for providing a way to contact you with my concerns and I will be involved with these meetings going
forward if there are any.
