Subject:RE: Developers plan for Centerville subdivision
Good Afternoon Cori,
Thank you for providing comments on a potential project next to your subdivision. At this time, the City does
not have a formal application for this specific property. If/when the application is submitted to the City and
you are within 300’ of the project boundary, you will receive notification from the City of the public hearing
date and the property owner will be responsible to place public hearing signs along all street frontages. Public
testimony will be welcomed at that time.
Sincerely,
Bill Parsons, AICP | Planning Supervisor City of Meridian | Community Development Dept.

Subject: Developers plan for Centerville subdivision
Good afternoon. We wanted to express our concern regarding the proposed Centerville subdivision across
from the YMCA and Century Farm. When we moved in a month ago, we were told our children could not even
go to the elementary school that is within walking distance from our new home due to full enrollment. That
the city would even consider multi family housing next to our subdivision, when there are not even spots for
the children living in the neighborhood is unacceptable. Until there is enough infrastructure to support all the
families currently here, no multi family homes should be built.
Had we known that higher density housing was part of the plan here we never would have chosen the century
farm subdivision.

We left California in part due to the irresponsible planning that left us with insufficient schools, congested
roads and lack of consideration for whether there was infrastructure to support the growth. Please don’t let
meridian go down this path too.
No to CBH’s plan to add high density housing in our area!
