Good Afternoon Kris,
Thank you for providing comments on a potential project next to your subdivision. At this time, the City does
not have a formal application for this specific property. If/when the application is submitted to the City and
you are within 300’ of the project boundary, you will receive notification from the City of the public hearing
date and the property owner will be responsible to place public hearing signs along all street frontages. Public
testimony will be welcomed at that time.
Sincerely,
Bill Parsons, AICP | Planning Supervisor City of Meridian | Community Development Dept.

Subject: Concerns on New Development Near Century Farm
Hello
I am a current resident of Century Farm and I am very concerned about the recent project proposal across
from South YMCA. The current project plan is too dense and does not coincide with Meridian’s vision for
neighborhood development. The current plan is trying to fit in too many houses in small land for profit
purpose only, which will impact the overall security and well-being of our neighborhood.
The building of multi-family lots and townhomes must be abandoned to keep our neighborhood safe and free
from any potential criminal activity caused by lower-income residents nearby. Especially with Hillsdale
1
Elementary School very close by, the City of Meridian must now allow dense residences so that we can keep
Hillsdale at good capacity and provide quality education.
Therefore, my family and I ask the City of Meridian to pls revise the current proposal so that there will be only
single-family residential homes built in the land across South YMCA.
Thank you.
Best regards,
Kris Lee
