Hello Mr. Johnson-
I was recently notified of a proposed high density housing project near the YMCA on E. Amity and Hillsdale in
South Meridian. I request that you document my request to the City to reject this proposed zoning change and
allow any owner of the property to build only as currently zoned.
As a homeowner, taxpayer, and resident of Meridian, I based my home purchase on the master plan Meridian
had developed with great discpline. I would encourage you to keep with that master plan, much thought was
invested in it and it helps to properly distribute the influx of people and business in our area. Any owner should
have the legal and rightful opportunity to build on that land, but please restrict this development to be built
according to how the land is currently zoned.
Thank you for your consideration.
