To Whom it May Concern:
My name is Melissa Wallinga and I am a resident of the Hillsdale Creek neighborhood/community. I have
recently received notification of the planned development for the corner of E. Amity Rd and S. Hillsdale
Ave. This email is to express my concern over the planned development including apartments and
medium-high density housing. This plan is not in line with the stated vision by the city which includes
medium density housing. if the preliminary plan is not revised this could exasperate already existing
elementary capacity/enrollment issues. It also raises traffic/safety concerns that accompany higher
density dwellings. I hope the plan ultimately accepted by the City will address these concerns that is
more in line with the city of Meridian's vision.
