Subject:Regarding Delano Subdivision - TESTIMONY FOR PUBLIC HEARING on 3-19-2020
To Mayor Simison and Meridian City Council Members:
As residents of the Alpine Pointe neighborhood in Meridian, my family opposes the high-density tract of homes that is
planned for the land adjacent to our street, Dashwood Place. This would place constant traffic past our home and would
also lower the value of our house. We support the idea of closing Dashwood Place to vehicle traffic and perhaps using
some type of barricade that would still permit pedestrian traffic through the area.
The city of Meridian needs some type of master plan, rather than over-building residences when adequate roads do not
exist to meet the demands.
Thank you for considering our opinions on this issue.
Sincerely,
Connie and Ken Muckenthaler
