Subject: Comprehensive Plan
City Council Members,
I am unable to attend the meeting this evening on the Comprehensive Plan, however it is
something I have been watching very closely. Please allow Susan Karnes to speak on my behalf as
a resident of Stetson Estates.
Keeping the history of Meridian alive in regards to agricultural and livestock space is of great
importance to us as I believe it is to so many residents in Meridian and the surrounding areas.
In fact every year Meridian hosts a Dairy Days parade. Please allow your current and future
residents to build upon that legacy by allowing small acreage parcels of very low/rural/estate
planning. Meridian has so much to offer it's a shame that buyers with dreams of acreage lots
and large estate homes feel they have to move to the City of Eagle to achieve their dreams.
Regards,
Tina Dean
