Sky Mesa Subdivision No. 3 is located north of E. Taconic Drive approximately 1/4 mile west of S. Eagle Road. The gross density of the final plat is 2.4 dwelling units per acre, with a net density of 3.92 dwelling units per acre. The minimum lot size is 8,115 square feet, with the average property size being 10,825 square feet. Landscaping and open space provided with this phase is 1.21 acres, or 7.45 percent of the site. Originally annexed as part of the Blackrock Subdivision, the property was rezoned to R-4 under Ordinance No. 17-756. The owner and developer entered into a Development Agreement, recorded as Instrument No. 2017-119308 in Ada County, Idaho. The preliminary plat and rezone were approved by the Meridian City Council on September 5, 2017.
