To Whom It May Concern:
We, Brian and Mary Affleck, live on a 10.8 acre rural estate property. We ask that Susan Karnes of the
Southern Rim Coalition be allowed to speak in our behalf at the City Council meeting scheduled for 17
Dec 2019.
Although our property has already been affected by the higher density subdivisions going in to the north
and east of us, we hope that others will not. It is sad for us to see our countryside becoming a
populated mess. Please, use caution and wisdom in the buildup of our city. We have always loved what
Meridian had to offer, but now feel the city has encroached too much into our open green space. It is a
shame.
Thanks for letting us put in our two cents and thanks to Susan Karnes for representing us and all of our
neighbors who love green space!
