RE: DRAFT Meridian Comprehensive Plan
Dear Mayor and City Council:
I am the current President of the Gemtone Center Owners Association which is a group of land
owners and businesses generally located north of Pine Ave. and both east and west of Hickory
as well as Rosario.
We have reviewed the proposed changes to the Meridian Comprehensive Plan and have
concerns that the proposed plan changes our properties designation to Mixed Use Community,
which allows for residential uses. The CCR's of our association do not allow for residential uses
nor do we feel that residential is a proper use of these properties. We request a modification to
your proposed update by designating the property within our association to Mixed Use Non -
Residential.
