Sicily Subdivision
Mayor and City Council,
The applicant for Sicily Subdivision was required to submit a variance application,
for exceptions to the maximum block length, for the Sicily Subdivision
Annexation/Zoning and Preliminary Plat applications (AZ-05-014, PP-05-016) which
are on the June 21, 2005 City Council agenda. Unfortunately, the variance
application materials were not transmitted by the Planning and Zoning Department
to the City Clerk's office in sufficient time to publish the required public notice for the
June 21, 2005 City Council hearing.
The Sicily Subdivision variance application (VAR-05-009) has been scheduled, and
has had public notice published, for the June 28, 2005 City Council hearing. Staff
recommends that the Sicilv Subdivision AZ and PP hearinas on the June 21. 2005
City Council aaenda should be continued until June 28. 2005 in order to be heard
concurrentlv with the associated Variance application.
