Subject: Conditions AMENDED - Cherry Blossom Sub
Hi Bill-
Attached are amended conditions of approval for Cherry Blossom Sub. I wasn’t sure where to upload as there a couple
of files open in Accela.
I told Doug we would approve a 7’ attached sidewalk through this development (along Cedarburg Street and around the
corner) in lieu of our usual 10’ multi-use pathway.
He will also provide a small segment of micropath between lots 17 & 18, to connect to an existing micropath in the
adjacent neighborhood.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Kim

CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL - PATHWAYS
1. The project developer shall design and construct a multi-use pathway consistent with the
location and specifications set forth in the Meridian Pathways Map and Meridian Pathways
Master Plan (Chapter 3) to provide a through-connection between NW 7 th Street and N
Crestmont Drive. Multi-use pathway may be provided as a 7’ attached sidewalk along the north
side of (proposed) Cedarburg Street. Additionally, the applicant shall construct a 5’ micropath
connection from N. Parkshire Way, east to the existing, adjacent micropath segment.
2. Prior to final approval, the applicant shall submit a public access easement for any additional
width required beyond the public street right-of-way (Cedarburg Street) to the Planning Division
for Council approval and subsequent recordation.
The applicant shall also submit a public access easement for the micro-pathway depicted
between lots 17 & 18, to provide a connection to the existing micro-pathway at W. Maple Drive
in the adjacent Midtown Square subdivision to the east. The micropath easement shall be a
minimum of 7’ wide (5’ pathway + 1’ shoulder each side).
Use standard City template for public access easements. Easement checklist must accompany all
easement submittals.
3. Construct all pathways per typical paving section(s) as shown in the Meridian Pathways Master
Plan Chapter 3, or per ACHD requirements in the case of attached sidewalks.
4. The owners (or representative association) of the properties affected by the public access
easement(s) shall have an ongoing obligation to maintain the multi-use pathways.
