Project Description
Construct a subdivision consisting of 12 building lots including an Albertsons
and fuel center
Applicant The Land Group
The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) reviewed the final plat application and has the following
comments:
1. This project does not abut the State highway system.
2. ITD has no current funding assigned to mitigate traffic congestion at the I-84 and SH-55 (Eagle Road)
interchange. Additionally, the SH-69 corridor is also already congested. This project will increase the
number of vehicle trips in the SH-69 corridor and through the I-84/SH-55 interchange as well. As the
City continues to add additional trips to the SH-69 corridor through development, the congestion will
worsen until the roadway system is ultimately overloaded and fails. ITD has no current funding
assigned to mitigate traffic congestion in the SH-69 corridor in this area.
3. The Idaho Administrative Procedures Act (IDAPA) 39.03.60 governs advertising along the State
highway system. The applicant may contact Justin Pond, Program Manager for ITD’s Headquarters
Right-of-Way Section at 334-8832 for more information.
4. Idaho Code 40-1910 does not allow advertising within the right-of-way of any State highway.

5. ITD does not object to the construction of the subdivision consisting of 12 building lots as presented in
the application.
