Perugia St, Meridian, ID, Elevate Self Storage — Franklin The proposed Elevate Self Storage - Franklin facility is adjacent to the Silver Oaks apartment complex, located at 3755 West Perugia Street, Meridian Idaho. We are requesting CUP approval in an R-15 zoning district for a residential self - storage facility. The parcel has been Rezoned from L -O to R- 15, which will allow an enclosed self-service storage facility to be constructed with in the existing apartment complex. Many residents have expressed an interest in having storage available. This blending of uses will benefit the local community. The project shall be designed to complement the architectural character of the residential area. The building design shall comply with the Traditional Neighborhood District (TND) design standards set forth in the City of Meridian Architectural Standards Manual. Great care was taken to create an architectural focal point at the intersection of Franklin Road and Umbria Hills. A 20' landscape buffer will be provided along the collector and local roads as shown on the attached landscape plan. Access will be taken from W. Perugia Street, with emergency access only to N. Umbria Hills Avenue. This is consistent with the TMISAP, which discourage access to arterials and collectors if local street access is available. The developer will be requesting approval to install signage for the apartment complex on the exterior corner of the storage facility. Hours of operation will be from 6: 00 a.m. to 10: 00 p.m., as required by Meridian City Code.
