Broadway Ave. Meridian, Idaho 83642 Re: Sky Mesa Commons No. 2, project #18111 – Landscape Modification Narrative Meridian Planning and Zoning, The landscape modification is restricted to the pedestrian pathway running through the park. We are proposing that a portion of the asphalt pathway be removed from the approved design. The portion of pathway along the South property line, from the 10’ path along Taconic Drive to the swing set near Montague Way, will be removed in favor of open grass area. We also propose a portion be added, in order to make the connection to the micro pathway entering the site from phase 4 (to the Southwest). The proposed pathway modification will provide a connected circulation system to all the proposed park amenities, the sidewalks along both roadways, and to the micro path entering phase 4. We have also adjusted our required pathway tree count. The total number of pathway trees required has been brought down from 10 to 5. The total number of pathway trees provided has been brought down from 10 to 7. These items were not a topic of discussion at a public hearing. The proposed design changes comply with the approved project’s conditions of approval and all applicable requirements of the UDC. Please contact me directly with any questions regarding the project.
