Box 8028 • Boise, ID 83707-2028 (208) 334-8300 • itd.idaho.gov Development Application H-2019-0053 FP Project Name THE KEEP SUBDIVISION Project Location Southwest corner of South Eagle Road and East Lake Hazel Road, east of SH -69 milepost 6.00 Project Description Construct a subdivision consisting of 59 residential building lots and 5 common lots Applicant Jarron Langston The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) reviewed the final plat application and has the following comments: 1. This project does not abut the State highway system. This development will gain access to the State Highway system at the I-84/SH-55 (North Eagle Road) interchange. The City is reminded that the I-84 and SH -55 (Eagle Road) corridors are already congested. This project will increase the number of vehicle trips in these corridors. While this individual development is not large, the accumulation of developments accessing the State Highway system at the I-84/SH-55 (North Eagle Road) interchange is creating additional congestion. As the City continues to add additional trips to these corridors through development, the congestion will worsen until the roadway system is ultimately overloaded and fails. ITD has no current funding assigned to mitigate traffic congestion in the I-84 and SH -55 (Eagle Road) corridors in this area. 2. The Idaho Administrative Procedures Act (IDAPA) 39.03.60 governs advertising along the State highway system. The applicant may contact Justin Pond, Program Manager for ITD's Headquarters Right -of -Way Section at 334-8832 for more information. 1pAHp Your Safety • Your Mobility IDAHO TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT x P.O. ITD does not object to the construction of the subdivision consisting of 59 residential lots as presented in the application.
