FYI, can you please add this to the public record for East Ridge Estates (H-2019-0041)?
Thanks,

Stephanie,
Boise Project does not allow anything other than grass or gravel within that 40 foot easement. No building lots,
fencing or pathways are allowed within this easement. These items were addressed clearly from the very beginning of
the development process.

Subject: Question regarding irrigation easement
Hi Tom,
I’m not sure if you’re the correct person to contact regarding my question below, if not, could you please forward
me on to the correct contact?
I’m working on a subdivision in Meridian north of E. Lake Hazel Rd. and west of S. Eagle Rd. and a section of the
Grimmett Lateral (40-foot easement) runs through the eastern (rear) part of several proposed building lots.
Meridian City Code requires that any irrigation easement larger than 10-feet be included in a 20-foot easement
within a common lot, or request City Council waiver to locate the easement within buildable lots. The applicant has
submitted an application for Council review to do locate the easement within buildable lots. I’m including a couple
of attachments here for reference.
My question is, what kind of vegetation/improvements would Boise Project Control allow w ithin that easement if it
were located within either a buildable lot or a common lot? Are there any differences between the two in terms of
what is required by your agency? Does Boise Project Control have a policy or something they’d usually prefer in this
situation?

Any thoughts/guidance would be greatly appreciated!
