Construct a subdivision consisting of 27 residential building lots and 5 common
lots

The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) reviewed the final plat application and has the following
comments:
1. This project abuts the State highway system.
2. No direct access to the State Highway system is requested with this application and none is approved.
3. The City is reminded that the I-84 and SH -69 (Meridian Road) corridors are already congested. This
project will increase the number of vehicle trips in these corridors. As the City continues to add
additional trips to these corridors through development, the congestion will worsen until the roadway
system ultimately is overloaded and fails. ITD has no current funding assigned to mitigate traffic
congestion in the I-84 and SH -69 (Meridian Road) corridors in this area.
4. IDAPA 39.03.60 governs advertising along the State highway system. The applicant may contact
Justin Pond, Program Manager for ITD's Headquarters Right -of -Way Section at 334-8832 for more
information.
5. Idaho Code 40-1910 does not allow advertising within the right-of-way of any State highway.

6. ITD does not object to the construction of the subdivision consisting of 27 residential lots as presented
in the application.
